Card Verses, Greetings & Sayings
You've got a beautiful card, but is the inside looking a little lonely. Verses, poems, sayings and greetings are the perfect way to decorate a bare-looking inner card. You wouldn't wrap a gift only to leave the inside empty, would you? So unless you plan on gifting a set of cards to someone else to use, make sure you put some kind of sentiment inside of it!
I'll start you off with a variety of sentiments that I've collected
over the years. Any quote or saying can do, so don't feel limited to
what you see here!
A few other ideas for finding sayings for your cards:
- Search online
- Keep greeting cards given to you where you liked the saying
- Visit your local card store and peruse (not copy) the products for ideas
- Look through poetry books for poems that stick out to you
- Consider including a bible verse, if appropriate
- Write your own poem - it all comes from your heart!
