Card Making Instructions

So you want some instructions for your card making? Well where do I start? There's so much to consider: What kind of paper do I need? How big do I make my cards? Where do I get images for them? What do I put inside of them?

And now you might be thinking about hitting the 'back' button and getting the heck out of here. "This isn't for me. What have I gotten myself into?"

Also remember, there is nothing to card making that says you have to buy every product under the sun. Just the opposite in fact! Consider the good old 80/20 rule - you may find that you use 20% of your supplies and tools 80% of the time. I have my trusty favorites that I go to time and time again, and other items that I pull out once in a while to use for a special project.

First let's start with a list of all of the basic tools and products that you will need to get started making your own cards.

Tip: Before you go out and break the bank, take a look around your own home to see how many of these products you already have on hand.
